This
Contract and Agreement is made the _____ day of __________________, 20____ at
the Palacios,
Therefore,
with the purpose of this agreement and contract being understood, the Chamber
hereby contracts with the Vendor as follows:
·
The Vendor will be present and be set up in Palacios at the assigned
space by 9:00 am unless prior arrangements have been made with the
Chamber. The vendor will operate in a
12’x12’ allocated space from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. If Vendor leaves before 4:00 pm, the
Chamber has the right to refuse future rentals.

The Vendor agrees that is will have present all appropriate goods for
sale; with the understanding that no explosive objects, fireworks, material
deemed objectionable or pornographic by the Chamber and no counterfeit or
illegal merchandise may be sold at Market Day.
·
The Vendor agrees it will pay the Chamber ($20) dollars per space. The fee must be paid to the Chamber on the
first day of every month in which the show is held or the booth will be
forfeited, unless the Vendor has made other arrangements with the Chamber. This payment is a non-refundable fee. The Chamber will furnish electricity to
Vendor for an additional $5.00.

The Vendor must call and reserve space each month. It is not the responsibility of the Chamber
to “hold” a space unless payment has been made.
·
The Vendor will move their vehicle or trailers off of the Park
premises. There is parking across the
street at the Bus Stop. This will allow
more accessible parking for the customers.
·
Vendor shall not allow any other person or group to sell out of its
space. One Vendor per booth. No sub-letting permitted.
·
The Chamber agrees to renew the rental space for the following month if
rent fee is paid prior to 1 pm on current Market Day, after that time Vendor’s
space will be rented to anyone requesting it.
·
In the event of Rainout the Chamber will not be obligated to refund any
portion of the rental fee unless it is the Chamber that called
cancellation. The rental fee will be
transferred to next month’s rental fee.
·
Chamber shall have exclusive power to shutdown any part of the Vendor’s
booth if, in the opinion of the Chamber’s Promoter deems to be out of character
or harmful to the Chamber. If such
“shut-down” occurs, no refund of monies shall be made to Vendor.

This agreement shall be constructed under the laws of the State of
·
If any provisions of this contract and agreement shall be illegal,
inoperative, or ineffective for any reason, then it is the intention of the
parties that such provision shall not affect the other operative and valid
provisions and that said remaining provisions be fully
operative and effective for all purposes.
